Ah... camping on the gmail. I remember the carefree days of youth... cooking over a hot smtp, phishing in the data stream (don't eat that, it'll give you worms), sleeping out under the star-schemas. Ah, those were the days. Now I just stay down in the basement. There'r no windows, no fresh air, and even the food is stale, but w/ 18Mb/s, I can get all of the outdoors I need, right on my monitor.

It must be at least mighnight there (if not now, then maybe another day, eh?)... you should be in bed, fast asleep, or at least well on your way to thinking "I never should have had the x-to-the-n martini"...

I am seriously in need to recreation, so I cannot take the requisite time to craft a suitable and worthy witty reply to your powerful missage, missy, so I'm going to join a buddy for dinner (and a martini, I am sure). I've been pulling too many 10 pm nights -- not necessarily a bad thing, but I've been starting w/ 9 am days, and old gets fast here. Whew.

I will try to find some time tomorrow (your "later today") to do a reply that merits your attention and wry reparte. Or dry mar-tine-e. Or whatever. See? Seriously lacking in dry wit. Well, when you have no dry wit, replace w/ dry mar... oh, wait, I already did a martini joke. Sigh.

I have noticed lately, that my spelling and grammar are attrocious. I have also noticed that Tori Spelling is pregnant again (an event which I had absolutely no part in), and my gramma is still deceased (Rest In Peave). Other than that, live is good or lousy, depending upon which end you're look at (up or down, I guess). Coffee is always looking good, but lately I find myself wishing for martinis. Rather than point to a character flaw (alcoholism) or potential health hazard, I think it indicates that I have no martinis. Oh wait, you're "over there"... where a martini is not a Martini. We've been through this before, and I don't remember the final decision. OK, a gin drink thingy, with a little bit of olive brine and a couple of nice green olives... and whisper "vermouth" near the glass.

Dang, now I NEED a martini. Character flaw?

For you, the Tiki... subtle jungle drums, trumming in time with the waves on the shore. In the distance, a lone bird calls to its mate... no doubt out on a bender with several of the other birds' husbands. They'll be feeling it in the morning.

If you haven't yet, you can try TikiBar TV, for some cordial cordials, and some campy comedy. Or, if art is more your style (and I know you have style), then try TikiFarm... I wouldn't buy mugs, but I would eye-ball 'em. And there are some animated (albeit poorly) covers from months gone past, with some artwork from Shag and others. Oh, and if your time is yours, you can try Yoyo Island... it has embedded Javascript which changes the experience as the day goes by. I cheated and just set my 'puter clock ahead each time I toured through, and got it all over at once. :-D Ever the impatient type.

And, as long as we're going for the full media effect, I can recommend Java's Bachelor Pad for some music, or Cocktail Nation podcast, for a shorter version, "down under". Under what? you might ask. And well you might. I don't know, but he don't sound like he's from Georgia (US or RUS). Heh.

OK, I'll quit mugging it up. Enjoy, and have a cocktail on my. Tell the bartender to put it on my bill.

May I tempt you with Cream Puff Kids? They are tasty icons, and lots of fun when stomped on. Caution, do NOT try this on carpet (at least not your own carpet... it CAN be fun to do that others' houses, along with the Mento-Coca Cola Float trick. ;-)
