My online portfolio

This is my first blog here, cant think of anything else to share but my online portfolio. Been employed under one company for the past 5 years, due to health issues I have to leave work 6 months ago. Now I am slowly getting back on track I need to start looking for jobs/projects that will allow me to work remotely. So I need an online portfolio to market myself.

Let me know what you think, thanks!

Looks really good. Might want to say what you did on the websites in your portfolio (part of a team, whole site, graphics, code, etc).

Nice site.

Two things to pick on - first, double check your titles on your images for sites and flash samples, they are showing with the href in them...and second, it is really image intense, think about which items to preload, maybe using some alternative low res images while the others are loading.
But great graphics otherwise, and I really like the stuff in the portfolio. oh, and the google analytics code should optimally be located right before the closing body tag...
oh, and you should say what your part was in each project.

Looks great - I especially love your header image.

Thanks for all the inputs:

a2 - I did but more of a summary of the tasks involved, they are listed each time you click on samples. Going into detail might be too long, most if not all projects I posted there I did mostly as a one man team ^^;

lpar - thank you

webmonkey - Yeah the graphics are intense, loading wise its an issue for slower connection/system. But since I am marketing myself to web companies that targets majority of users with broadband, I guess I dont need to limit myself that much.

As far as my part on each project, I did state them just not detailed. I appreciate the constructive criticisms and suggestions A LOT! (I better work on the optimization/titles/analytics)

Blabby - thank you, the character is based on real life me

Thanks for the info! It's a great site!

Lovely illustrations, wish I could do that! I reckon the site's just right for your Flash and illo stuff.

On the other hand you've got some serious-looking clients on the website section though, I was just wondering if the style of your portfolio will appeal to that market? Also you've got CSS listed but your site is tabled, if someone defo wants you for that they'll check your code for sure.

Yes maybe you need to sell yourself a bit more, with saying what your involvement was (like took photos, liaised with client, kept to short timeframe etc etc) Anyhow, I don't think you'll have much free time, it's all lovely - go girl!

Tootle - thank you for the input, yeah I wish I have some websites developed in CSS, the issue when I made those, the company's back-end developers prefer old fashion table coding.

Free time is indeed my issue, but I will definitely work on adding some extra details on the samples. Thanks again for the constructive criticism and compliments.
