Site Reboot
After attending BarCamp Orlando 2007 (barcamp.org) last weekend, an open source 'unconfernce'. I got home and migrated my old static xentek.net site (hq for my freelance consulting) to Wordpress. I was even inspired to overhaul my brand image (read: logo). I was practically shamed to give my address out at this conference, so I basically ran home and got a new site online in a couple of days.
Check it out, and subscribe to the feed: xentek.rss
I'm going to use it to document my own exploits (dynamic porfolio), but also blog for my design/development peers. I figure if my clients read those posts, it may educate them, but also get them excited about new technologies. Technologies they'll want to pay me to implement. (Clever, huh? ;)
And if a barcamp is coming near you, walk don't run.
P.S. - As an added bonus, the talk I gave at barcamp mentions IconBuffet.
You can find the slides on my site (click on the 'Talks' button the right).
Thanks guys!
