Do some holiday giving and get a free t-shirt.
I try to avoid promoting my own stuff, but this is a unique situation. I have a feeling that the IB community is going to approve of this. It's in the same fun, giving spirit that this whole 'buffet is all about. :)
A new site that just launched where you can post your experiences donating food and supplies to local charities. The whole thing is pretty straightforward:
1. Register your team.
2. Go fill a shopping cart with food
3. Donate all that food to a local charity
4. Upload your story and pictures to the site
5. Get a free t-shirt for every hundred bucks you donate
Check out FillACart.org. Read how it all got started (holy cow! Is that a icon-trading caveman in that picture?)
The site will never ask for any payment details, because even the shipping is free. So check it out and let me know what you think. If you like it and you have myspace, add FillACart as a friend, too! :)

Gregg, this is wonderful! What a great idea and great execution! And you have proven that men can shop! I am stunned.
I might have missed it but could you have a link where someone could just make a donation of any amount rather than shop?

Thanks ZsaZsa! We don't actually process any money whatsoever. The t-shirts and shipping expenses are all donated.
However, we are going to be adding listings of food banks and other charities that people can search by zip code. I'll make sure we also include a link to each food banks online donation page (when they have one).

The site is in USD though, so that puts conversion up to you. I'll bring up internationalization to everyone else, but I'm sure that is a technical challenge that will take a while to implement.
