New to IB? Come see the Welcoming Committee!

The IB Welcoming Committee exists to help new IconBuffet members get their first 250 points. (Read this to find out why the first 250 is a big deal.) We know those first 250 points can be tough to get, so we want to help you! Here's our easy, four-step process:
1) Set a profile pic. It doesn't have to be a photo, but this is a cue to other members that you're somewhat "serious" about playing.
2) Find a committee member who needs a delivery (or deliveries) that you have. On each person's profile page, you'll see the "Icons I Have" section, but if you click on the gray button ("Icons I Need") the listing will show icons that person doesn't have. But whose profiles should you check? I've got a roster right here!

These pirates are only "welcoming" other pirates right now:
• matthazinski (refresh on the 16th)
3) Whisper to that member to let him/her know you have something to send. How do you do that? On the user's profile page, scroll down to "The Box." Write them a message, but click the "whisper" check-box so only you and that person can see the message.
4) That committee member will whisper you back to let you know what to send. SEND IT! =) You'll find a message in your "The Box" with a green bar on top. This message will include the names of the icon pack(s) for you to send to that member. Once they're sent and the member accepts them, you'll get points!
AND THAT'S HOW IT WORKS! ::confetti::
NOTE: If any other IconBuffet veterans are interested in joining the welcoming committee, just add IB Welcoming Committee to your profile. I'll keep editing this post so's that newbies know which committee members are currently offering such assistance.

OK, I'll join up too - I guess one month on here and 400 points makes me a little less of a newbie. But if everyone commits to only helping newbies, then who will help those of us "in between"?

@SmockLady: Well, I guess I'm working off the assumption that since you and I can see people in need of the icons we have (who aren't our "friends" yet), we have a slight advantage over the sub-250 crowd. I want to focus on the "IB Impoverished" among us right now. You just need to start mass-whispering to strangers... ;)

@robertadefelippe: You can read about the whole "250 points" thing in this post from Josh.
You've already completed step 1 (set a profile pic).
Now you should click on the "roster" links in the post above. On each person's profile page, there's the "Icons I Have" section, but if you click on the gray button ("Icons I Need") the listing will change, and show icons that person doesn't have. If you have an icon set that he (or she) is missing, that's good--but don't send it right away! (This is Step 2.)
Scroll down to "The Box" on their profile. Write them a message, but click the "whisper" check-box so only you and that person can see the message. (This is Step 3.)
That committee member will then leave a similar message on your profile, letting you know what to send him (or her). (This is Step 4.)
Does that help clear things up?

How many points do you get for each delivery that you send to people

ok, I'm in ... You earn 10 times the tokens cost of the set ... let say you sent a glod delivery to someone, this costs 5 tokens, you earn 50 points ... a special case is if you send a diamond delivery (10 tokens), then you earn 250 points
