What is the terms for using Iconbuffet images in your site, do you need to post "Icons (c) iconbuffet 2007" or what is it?

Nope. You are free to use them on your site without crediting iconbuffet.

It's always nice if you do so though, but it's not a must.

Well, I have a plan for IconBuffet.. I just wanted to know what the legal thing is for it.

Before doing anything get an insurance, join The Pirates, just go to your profile and add "The Pirates" without the quotes and without any typos to any of the profile categories: Movies, Listening, On the Tube, Reading

IB insurance, elnitido52? Are you a government-sponsored privateer? :-)

Generally, you'd want to include a link back to IB. Not because we have to, but because this is all a cleverly devised scheme by the chefs so we put a link anyway, hoping for referrals.

Back on topic... :-) I believe that the full terms for using icons from here are disclosed in the license agreement document which is zipped up inside every download. I believe following the rules described there would be the way to go.

Obviously. Problem is, sometimes you just have to sum it up to a few sentences. =)

marcoftheweb on Jun 30, 2007

Yeah, but I don't know too many lawyers who can sum anything up in a few sentences. :-)
