Blinksale: Easy, painless, online invoicing for small businesses

McCoy Button Promotion

The folks over at 24-7 Design Heaven have a "Get out the Vote" button contest and I made a submission.

I think you have to sign up to vote/leave comments. Tell me what you guys think. The guy running it says "FTW" isn't very clear. Given the context/environment of the contest, I'd say that "FTW" is widely understood by those who can actually vote. I dunno…

VOTE For The Whales?

Yes, I know what YOU meant, but FTW has more than one use.

The one I usually think of would be inappropriate to post here.

I think the latter is the less common usage.

Urban Dictionary says over 10,000 voters agree it means "For The Win." The sheer dominance of internet life today pretty much suggests this to be the more widely known definition of the acronym.

i am against 3-letter acronyms as a general rule. this may be because there are so many of them at the company that pays me, but it also means i saw ftw and thought of it backwards (i do know that one!)
