As many of you may know, I am the curator of iamjealous; a daily blog chock full of envy. Now with blurbs!! Surfing the web has never been so green!

I have noticed that many of the sites I frequent – that have their own daily post-ups – will include a jealousy that was posted several moons ago on iaj. Of course, it only makes me all giddy to know I got the scoop on something before a popular site *cough*Coudal*cough*. In addition, I have noticed a few posts here that will reference a site or bon-mot that I have featured as a jealousy. All this means is that not enough people are aware of iaj and what it can do for you—the good people of the internet.

Enter this thread. Updated every day; this will be IB’s repository for what’s seen over on iaj. If you are on twitter, you can follow iamjealous and get the daily jealousy (and a few bonus jealousies not seen elsewhere) along with your other followed tweets.

I encourage all IBers to feel free to post jealousies in this thread because… everyone is jealous of something. If it is especially juicy, it will make it onto iaj itself.

Lastly, if there is anything that you might think would improve the site, don’t hesitate to leave feedback here or on the blog itself. It’s not easy being green.

I have a suggestion: turn off the snapshots plugin. It doesn't make me jealous at all.

For the longest time, wordpress was telling me it was something that a user would have to do themselves, that it wasn't a plugin I had access/control over. Today, however, I finally wormed it out of them that it is under the “Extras” tab in “Presentation”.

Snap Preview is disabled (I, too, hated that annoying little feature).

FWIW: the iamjealous twitter account doesn't follow anyone (with the exception of the VeryGreenTeam – which is not a person anyway – as part of the Color Wars).

It is really only a service for those wanting jealousy updates once a week.
