Free Delivery "New" Display
How difficult would it be to have the "New" portion of the Free Delivery page display only the most recent three sets that you DO NOT have? They would be new, and you wouldn't have them. You could then click on one of them, see the list of your friends who do possess them and ask kindly for a send.
Of course, I am in no way a programmer, so this could be like raising the Titanic with a bicycle pump.

I think the "Icons I Need" tab on your profile page displays the sets chronologically from newest to oldest. Can't be sure though since I've only had one set at a time in that area.
The way the "New" sets on the "Free Delivery" tab are displayed seems to be absolutely random though. Which is kinda confusing seeing as how the header says NEW.

I think it does too as New York Neanderthal is first, Marseilles Value Meal next and Groom Lake Invasion follows. I think those are in delivery order etc

Sure, but with the confusion as seen on the Free Delivery page, I think the same kinda thing custom served to the user logged in, would be a good plan.

I wasn't meaning to imply that it was a bad idea T, just that there was already something in place that kinda did what you were asking.
But IMO the 3 "New" sets should at least be the 3 newest sets.

No worries, watehey, I didn't take that particular implication. Was just trying to clear up what I meant.
Rock on wit ur bad selves!

"New" is actually a misnomer there. The word should be "Featured."
tamashii on Mar 26, 2007
So 3 different sets become "Featured" items every time I click Refresh?
iconmaster on Mar 26, 2007
That's how it works for now.

and what about having a way to see all the sets we have (something like the former IB) ? Instead of calling AJAX to see only 9 sets ?
iconmaster on Mar 26, 2007
Not sure quite what you're asking, Wile. You can see all the sets you have on your My Icons tab. We don't have any plans to offer an Ajax-free version of the site.

you can't see them all at once ... that was what I meant
watehey on Mar 26, 2007
@ Wile - With 64 sets (and counting) being able to see them all at once takes up too much screen space IMO. But since you have a complete collection as well, all you need do to see all of them is click the "Free Delivery" tab.
