Experience Points?

First: Take a look at Tower Grove.

Now, there are a couple of forums (powered by Vanilla or something similar or completely different, but the basics are there, I think) that exist on the interwebs (B3S and the like) that have a built in RPG element. I don't know how exactly they work, but there they are.

Iconmaster made mention of the points being akin to, say… "experience points":
Regarding points: personally I tend to think of them as "experience points." And getting a lot of experience always pays dividends down the road...

Anyone else here think there might be a pseudo-RPG in the works that will use points to bolster your character? And perhaps have graphical elements in the Tower Grove style?

Just sayin'.

PS: I just noticed that this thing is auto-spell checking. Kewl!

(that's firefox at work! Nifty eh?)
That would be pretty cool for this to turn a bit like an rpg.

They might surprise us with something like that in the distant future, but with all that is going on here now I would think they have their hands full without starting a new venture.

Except for Josh saying "IB First" to come soon.

the points def. make it more fun to trade... save for the icons themselves. those sweet, sweet icons.

They've done a great job at improving the social aspect of IB. I've been a member for at least a year now, and previously the only "friends" I had were my co-workers.

This new setup is awesome, and if they adding in an RPG element... Well it'd be like WoW at work!
