Change login to OpenID

Is there a way to change your login method to OpenID now that OpenID is an option?

I [heart] OpenID, but I joined iconbuffet before it was an option.

I've heard that if you log out, and then login with the OpenID, the site will ask if this is a new or existing account, and then you can convert your existing account to OpenID.

You actually have to log out, and log in with OpenID. Then it asks you to link to your existing account.

Then it takes you to the log in screen again and if you try to log in with OpenID you go start the cycle all over again. Instead, log in the normal way one last time. Then if you log out and log in using OpenID it all works.

Very bizarre process, but I'm glad it all worked in the end.
