Thanks friend!

I agree, I couldn't get excited about Winter Study. Usually I can't put her books down until they're finished. I did enjoy the little bit of info about the wolves but otherwise wasn't as interested in the story. I had if figured out pretty well by the end. I tend to like the ones set more in the west or southwest. Though Deep South wasn't too bad.

Thanks for the delivery! I'm well, busy at work which leaves little time for anything else. House hunting and getting ready to move again, as well as working on a couple of my own projects and trying to get some game-time in on my days off. Too few hours!

Hiya! Amazing how quickly time flies, hope you've been keeping well. If you've got the stamps, could you send Tonkawa Smilies my way? Thanks very much!

Hello new friend - I see we have Loreena McKennit and Georgia O'keefe in common, too! Monarch of the Glen was my favorite show for quite a while - I love Scotland, and would love to live there. I got hooked on GF and Changing Rooms when I last visted, too.

Unfortunately the only other LucasArts games I played were various Indiana Jones Games, that's it^^ But Grim Fandango & Monkey Island are still my all time faves :)

Hello Snowraven! Love your avatar. Looks like you still have tokens, so I sent you Taipei Tiny Too. Enjoy! =)

Finished Firefly, watched Serenity. Liked the film, not so much the series. I got into the individual characters, but... well, I guess I just don't like westerns, even space westerns. =)

grantneufeld Vip-micro on Jun 11, 2007

Thanks for the set request.

BTW, I notice you’re a Goldsworthy fan. A group of us Culture-Jammers here in Calgary did an action along the lines of his work. I’ve got some photos up on Flickr.

Love your icon…long-time admirer of NW Coast art.

Hi, dropping in to intro myself b/c I kinda butted into your dialog w/justG re: Firefly.

justG on Jun 06, 2007

Nooooo, don't call me gator! I'm leaving the swamp soon, really! =]

Hey, what do you think of Firefly? I've only seen two episodes so far, but I can't get into it. And I feel like that doesn't bode well, since it was just a season-long series. The individual characters are okay, especially the uh.. "companion" (yum?), but something about the narrative and environment isn't captivating me. Of course I'm going to stick with it now that I've started, but thought I'd make conversation and ask you your opinion while I'm here. Maybe I'm just missing something. =)

Sent you CrO3 to finish up your collection again.

Harry Potter & Andy Goldsworthy are great! I would love pet shop after June 13 when I receive more tokens...

justG on May 31, 2007

Heya! Thanks for the mini-review of the show. Mandana, that sounds like an Indian name. *Heads to IMDB* Ah ha, Iranian. Oops. I didn't realise that the show began so long ago! Myeh, where've I been. IMDB says 1999-2006, does that mean it's been cancelled, or that it ended?

What you said about the show actually speaks quite well of it, which is pretty sad. Production values for queer programming almost always verge on nil. The community's so starved for it, especially in places without much of a "scene," that the tolerance for rubbish seems to be pretty high. The same can be said of TLW, which has its highs 'n' lows as well (loads of lows), but an episode of which I wouldn't miss for the world.

Sorry, went off on a bit of a rant there. I'll have to have a look at the show, once I get this project done. =)

justG on May 29, 2007

Oooh, handcuffs, there's a thought. *cackle* I've heard so-so things about Bad Girls, is it worth watching?

Laurwren on May 22, 2007

Thanks for the pets! *browncoats forever!* I haven't heard of Smoke Signals & Wolves but I'll have to check it out now that you mentioned it.
