Feature Request - Email Opt-out
Hello, Chefs!
So, I've been on IB for quite a while, and I was used to the flurry of emails when you request icons. No biggie. Now that I have all but 4 or 5 sets, I get very few emails, even on the new IB.
However, some friends of mine that I referred and who joined have been really upset at the number of emails they're getting. Basically, since they're missing all 75+ deliveries, that's 75 potential emails, assuming they don't reject any icons sent to them. One of these people doesn't even have any tokens, but he'll still get all of the emails.
So I want to put a big ol' +1 for an Email Opt-out function. If not completely, then at least for those who are out of tokens.
Thanks,
Sean

Either that or the email digest option someone else suggested. That way, even if you receive 75 deliveries, you still only get emailed once.

That would be something. Anything that could happen quickly would be great. :) I've got a couple people who've asked me if they just signed up to be a spam bucket. They thought the idea of IB was cool, but they're pretty close to being completely turned off by it now.

I agree with seanhussey. Unless something along these lines is implemented it will slow down the amount of referrals people are willing to get.

Another vote for the restriction of emails. One digest a week would be plenty. It does seem silly to get all these emails despite not having any token to pick them up with. I just delete the emails now, and even deleted an email about a free delivery from a chef because I didn't read the message - I only realised I had the delivery because I popped back to see when my credits got refilled (2 days - woo hoo).

my mailbox got bombed by notifications of receiving deliveries.
it totally pissed me off when 7 Amsterdam High Seas deveries were received and I am running out of tokens
