You get tokens once a month on your sign up date. You can see exactly where you are points and badge wise by clicking the Stats link under your points box.
You might find this FAQ useful
You'll get it sorted eventually. Be careful with your tokens, they vanish pretty fast ans there are new sets released every week.
Any questions just ask. I'm on and off most of the day.
