What happened to Demonoid?
When you go to their URL, you are redirected to a new domain and the page states the following:
The CRIA threatened the company renting the servers to us, and because of this it is not possible to keep the site online. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.

Really?! Are you seriously questioning why a torrent site for pirated stuff was shut down by the CRIA?!
Demonoid suffered the same fate as Oink. Hope you didn't have a huge seed/upload ratio.

You might be slightly more than bummed if the CRIA et al get hold of the demonoid upload and download logs which they apparently kept in great detail.
