Hi!

I'll be getting the new Olso Christmas set when it's released, plus I'm trying for the badge for Gold deliveries. So let me know if you need anything!

Happy Holidays! =D

Thanks mollie, but no tokens for a few weeks. I'll send out my wish list then. Cheers!

Warm greetings from sunny Florida, USA.

sgitheanaich asked me to explain The Pirates guild. My explanation got lengthy because I needed to dredge up past history.
Anyway me monkey suggested others might find me scribbles useful so me thoughts have been posted to this blog: Explain The Pirates in 5000 words or less...

Hey mollie, i sent you some deliveries too. BTW, i'm also a member of the The Pirates clan. ;-)

sgitheanaich on Jul 23, 2007

Arrrr the Pirates are a clan (integral social network) here and there's lots to know, so I've asked "Iqon" to come explain it to you. I'm fairly new myself so haven't gotten a firm grasp yet. Iqon is lovely so ask him anything!
All best wishes, Helena

WOW! I am so happy...do anyone here know what the pirate thing is?

Hi Mollie, welcome to the Buffet. I hope you'll enjoy it here. I'm really glad that you've been given some good advice already. There's lots of fun to be had here, not just using the icons and chatting in the blog forum, but finding new people to trade with and of course building your points.
I've sent you the offer of a couple of the more popular sets as they are good ones for you to then pass on to others. Please feel free to decline them if you like. If you don't want a delivery that's been sent to you, it's a good thing to decline it right away. Just as you get tokens to "buy" sets, it costs stamps to "send" sets, so declining right away lets people have their stamps back top re-use. Be sure and look around as there's lots and lots to choose from.
All best wishes, and feel free to ask if there's ever anything I can help with.

hi there! I see you're new here, so welcome to the Buffet! If you want anything I have, feel free to whisper in my box!

There are some nifty things around here. Example, when you upload an avatar (an image that represents you), you'll get a cheese badge! When you hit certain point thresholds, you'll receive badges. Same goes when you've sent some amount of deliveries, or when someone accepts your invitation to join the feast at IconBuffet (IB). =D

You'll earn points when someone accepts your delivery. To send a delivery, you'll need stamps. You can get more stamps by receiving deliveries from others. And you'll need tokens to accept deliveries. Tokens will be refilled monthly.. It's like on huge circle. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun here!

Hi Mollie! I saw your request for sets on the blog and thought I'd say hello and add you as a friend. I'm out of stamps right now to send anything, but should have some in a day or so if you're still looking for something then. Feel free to browse my small collection and request anything you'd like.

I usually only accept sets sent from my friends, especially those who don't have a lot of points (which you'd be high on that list), so when I get my token refill I may ask for one of your sets if that's okay.

To get started on your points you can upload an avatar to your profile. Points help you get nifty badges. If you have any questions about how iconbuffet works feel free to ask me or you can cruize the blogs for tips and advice. Cheers!

Hi, Mollie. If you upload an avatar, you'll get your first cool badge. Once 25 people have befriended you, you'll get your second cool badge. I added you as a friend to get you moving towards that second badge. Welcome to IB! :) Jan

Hi - sent a few over - can accept or reject them as you wish - keep in mind how many tokens each one "costs". Welcome!
