i wrote a tagged forum module for my site, and it's now using an ib icon from the tower grove telecom set, plus icons from tango and kempleton. you’ll see at least some of those icons when viewing a thread — the tag icon on the index page gives you an example of my sub-par icon creation skills.

instead of threads having to be placed in one specific forum, there’s only one forum and the threads can have any number of tags (even no tags). so that’s why i call it a tagged forum.

i also put in some ajax features that deal with the reply box at the end of a thread (that box only shows on the last page if the thread has multiple pages of posts). posting a reply from that box with javascript enabled works a lot like posting a reply here, where the reply gets added to the end of the thread without reloading the page. clicking the quote link below a post uses ajax to convert the quoted post back to bbcode and insert it in the reply box, then scrolls you to the reply box.

the tower grove icon i’m using is for sending a private message. tower grove is my favorite family but it doesn’t look like any of the free or stock sets have a tower grove icon that works well for quote. i think every other icon i used from somewhere other than here has an option in a tower grove stock set, but i don’t want to spend that much money on something that doesn't completely solve my problem. if you have suggestions on other ib icons that would work well here, i’m sure i’ll get flooded with sets :)
