IB RSS Issues
someone mentioned this a few days ago, but IB is still having RSS issues. I just got 75 "new" posts in Google Reader. Anyone else?

It was explained that this was a glitch in Google Reader, not the feed. Whenever items are changed (i.e. tags changed) it marks them as new again. Nothing IB can do about it unfortunately.

Not to disagree, but the same thing just happened to me (75 new), NOT using Google Reader. (I'm using NetNewsWire Lite, an external newsreader.)

We went back and tagged all the sets with "etherbrian" or "iconmaster" depending on the set's creator. This causes all the RSS entries to be marked as "new."

um.. can't you disable the re-ping temporarily for changes like that?

It happened to me too (but then, I was the first complainer about Google Reader).

mik -- I think it's just how RSS works. I've seen it with news stories that get updated too.
