Me will be bringin' me world famous Shrunken Monkey Heads (bell peppers stuffed with ground turkey, rice, and me special spices).

Out of respect for the most honorable tamashii, me will be wear'n my best eye patch - the black velvet one with a rhinestone Jolly Roger. Me monkey will only be attendin' if me can gets him in the black tie tuxedo straightjacket. It be the only way to control him at parties (trust me, drunken monkeys are an ugly animal).

Furiously searches through the wardrobe to extract all the bits and pieces of favourite party outfit and dashes off to the 2 hour dry cleaner.

Large bottle of Brandy
24 boxes of assorted fruit juices
and
a gallon drum of Everclear.

Likes punch with a good kick to it. This one has the added advantage of cleaning the drains after the party. :)

aw, i was going to bring champagne, but JB seems to have the drinks under control ! well i'll try to think of something else then...

i'll be wearing my black party dress : 1920's style backless with crisscrossy straps that tie behind the neck and asymmetrical hem (hmm, the description doesn't really do it justice...) and my dancing shoes, of course !

i could bring some music too, i have plenty of that : how bout some beastie boys, a couple of french funk ska fanfares (Ceux Qui Marchent Debout and Les Fils de Teuhpu, in case anybody else knows them), and "Can I Get a Witness" by Marvin Gaye, to start !

@davemun - This is the middle of the day for me - the side effect of working a 12-hour shift at night for 15 years (sinister software seldom sleeps!). Me is off till Saturday night, in order to sleep during the day me needs to be lurking at night. Aye me has had about four hours sleep since Thursday night. Me will be sleeping like a drunken monkey after the sun comes up.

Alas, I have only just returned from a seaside retreat, having removed myself from the online community for a time, time and half a time. It indeed has replenished my soul and strengthened my body. However, I have only just heard about the celebrations!

In honour of your birthday, brother, I went searching in our cellar. I went seeking a various assorted vintages to bring, but discovered that they had been plundered in one of iqon's raids. iqon, I am jealous of your possession of our wine that you have stolen and pray that you will bring the crates of plunder that we all may share the spoils.

In light of this, I have procured a precious bottle of 1953 Château Margaux from the deepest recesses of our innermost cellar and bring it for our delectation.

In case you've been looking for him, I should tell you that tamashii's sleeping it off somewhere. He was still here when he passed out, but Tamadaisy & GrammyG noticed iqon's monkey eyeing him like he was rum cake so they hauled him off to a safer location. GrammyG assured me he had a good time, and asked that if he doesn't remember all of his later antics, to please not remind him. Well it seems that xentek was the only one who read the small-print at the bottom of the birthday party page (either that or he was the only one sober enough to look for the icons lol!), but anyway, he was the only entrant to my impromptu competition. Not quite all right (I was a little bit sneaky with one of the sets I used), but as a reward for entering, he gets to send me a bronze delivery - I'll be whispering my request shortly.

Anyway, for anyone interested, the correct answer was:
