Over-joyed

My mother and I have both been afflicted with some computer difficulties in the last week. Her's died and there is no hope for it, and she seems to be losing hope that her "old, but new" iBook will ever show up at her door. (Fedex {more like FedUp} hasn't come yet. Should have gone with UPS.) But she will survive.

My computer decided on Sunday that the HD was just going to go to the dark side. But thankfully, UPS showed up at my door with my new 80G HD yesterday. Orion, my computer, is back up and running, happily, with so much space it's like the Grand Canyon. Yippie!

Maybe I shouldn't be so happy as my mother is still in her morose state-of-mind, but I think she understands my happiness. (Or at least, that's what I'm hoping.)

UPS isn't really much better, it's a gamble either way :)

thanks for the congrats. maybe the UPS guy just knew i was going to hurt someone if i didn't get my HD. and he didn't want to be that person. :)
