Hey there! I know a lot of people who join iconbuffet is because of its great icons. For that reason I would like to know how many webdesigners are there is this community. actually, there are quite a few. they have an IconBuffet group, IB WebDesigner (can't remember if there's a space or not).

add it to your profile, then click on it. you'll see everyone else...

my personal site is track7.org. i also made the site for the local humane society (though they don’t seem to want it to get updated anymore) and am working on a site for my neighborhood association. i only do it for free though because i have something else i do to pay the bills.

Self taught, it is a genuine passion and necessity that I've designed my own websites. I enjoy the whole process of getting an idea up there and then been to use it for what it was intended for. :) Still learning.

self taught, but I've taken the lazy way out lately, using installable CMS suites. They are open source (free), you can have a full website with blog and forums up in a day, and most are easy to theme (websiteguru here on IB makes themes for the CMS I use). Not sure if that counts. Most of the stuff I've done are gaming sites for WoW guilds (most of those guilds have since split up) and a few private trading sites that are invite only (keeps ppl out that set up trades and don't keep their end of the deal).
