Feature Request: Blog Name Change

When we post things like this in the Blog Forum, they're not really blogs, e.g. "Post New Blog". Technically, a blog is a website which would contain all of these posts. What we are writing could be considered either blog entries or forum posts. I think the name should be changed to something else, to avoid confusion

Agreed. These are actually threads in a forum. I would just drop the "Blog" portion on the Forum tab and instead of saying, Post Blog, it should more appropriately be Post New Thread.

I think it has something to do with the way threads are organized. For example, this page is listed under /people/matthazinski -- it's his little section of the site.

So it really is kind of a blog, but we allow multiple people to post entries in it.

Why not have both??

Have a Tab for "Forum Threads" so people can post Questions/Issues (Not shown in personal profile page)

And have a Tab for "Blogs" where paople can post Random Thoughts / Other stuff (this would be show on there personal profile page)

Just add it on to the main forum page, where it says "Everything - Community - News"

But iconmaster, even if they're posts in users' blogs, that's still different than each post being a blog. "Feature Request: Blog Name Change" is a post with comments... it's not a blog in and of itself; it's one post in matthazinski's user blog.
