I just got done reading Cult of the Amateur. You take a select few incidents and magnify it by a hundred times and all of a sudden the world is going to end. Or at least the music industry.

We're humans, we can adapt. If we were going to kill off ourselves by mass consumption we would have done it years ago when crack was introduced.

And if traditional music and literature get to the point of extinction, not likely, then something else is going to take its place. Not necessarily better but at least different. That's the way of the world in terms of change. LOL it's going to end in 2012 anyway...
