Couldn't you just use PayPal's temporary CC thing to make your purchase, or do they not do that anymore? (In case they don't, and by way of explanation, they used to have a feature where you could request a temporary, single-use credit card number that you could use on any site that accepted [either Visa or MasterCard, I forget]. It was pretty handy.)
Would love PayPal payments, but remember that Josh has already commented on this: http://www.iconbuffet.com/people/josh/blogs/welcome-to-the-new-buffet

Yeah, we're trying to figure out how we'd like this to work. I know a handful of you would like PayPal stuff... but it may be a month or three before we get that in place. It is on the radar though.
You might also want to consider Google Payments. You get a $10 credit for signing up and if IB could be a qualified merchant they could reduce their first years VIP fees by $10 the first year. Plus IB wouldn't pay any fees to Google through the end of 2007 (PayPal would charge IB 2.9% + $.30 on each monthly payment received). Win-Win Situation
I have political disagreements with paypal so I don't use them.. usually I just get a gift card from my local mall.. they are like one time use credit cards

Hehe Paypal would be great! I hate giving my credit card # out. If Paypal was available I would be a VIP already.
