What's in a name?

So, I just recently bought a lovely OWC Mercury Elite AL for backup, etc.

I'm going to partition into a couple of volumes, and would like to rename my harddrive and my partitioned volumes, admittedly my favorite part of the partition process. (I'm leaning towards some Shakespearean eponyms...)

Anyway, to make a long story short, was suddenly curious as to what other people have named their computers (and peripherals).

So, what did you name your computer(s)?

The university I went to named their's after fruit. I do the same... right now I have a "pineapple", "banana", "mango"

The System partition on my desktop is named for the two professors who gave me my first computer. i used to stay on as lab assistant until the college rolled up it's sidewalks at night.

others are named after pets, nicknames, & just silliness: Fred, Tsunami, Jerry, Rory, even reluctant OSX! my iBook is Suzan's Apple. i used to have one named iCons, but there are now 3 partitions to hold them!

At my last job, I used to have one named "Nefertiti's Eye" (you know cause the statue had one missing), and my other partition, "Her Other Eye". It was cool having them come up in some printer network queue.

The Mac Lab had all computers numbered, but the printers were Michelangelo and Leonardo. i asked him why he named them after the Ninja Turtles. he took me seriously and started to tell me about the artists! *very very dry sense of humor, if any!*

Well finally decided on names:

Foxy Brown (internal drive)
Emma Peel (storage drive)
Honey West (backup drive)
