Blinksale: Easy, painless, online invoicing for small businesses

End of the VIP line for me?

Here's my personal recipe for IB ennui: 14,510 points, all 181 sets, 28 tokens and 0 stamps. I seriously can't do anything on IB now except post messages.

My tokens will reset to 32 on April 28th. Can anyone give a sound reason why I should continue with VIP?

i say just let VIP run out until they somehow overload the site with so many sets that people need VIP again.

The golden letters next to your nick are the only main reasons right now.

being a non-vip is not so bad, you just have to be a little pickier...

I thought of the same thing yesterday. May be remember one of the reasons for being VIP: Supporting the good work of the IB Founders to make sure they can continue their work.

If this is not enough... ...I can't help

Cheers vihugo

there is always: IB Ex-VIP!

for those of us who are loyal to IB, but have been unable to "play" anymore because we "got it all" ! Maybe it's the IB Retirement Community!

Unless there are some changes or updates to the system, i don't see any way out. Everyone is loosing tokens each month & has no stamps, accept the windfall of 5 stamps for each new set release! i have 8 right now & don't know what to do with myself …

VIP = support and a way of saying thanks to the chefs.
VIP = warm fuzzy feeling
VIP = good karma.

maldenjen on Apr 06, 2008

Realistically, guys, I am not a wealthy person. I'm sure the Chefs are doing just fine, and besides, they are running a business, not a charity. My VIP bucks will do a lot more for my warm feelings and my karma (I think) if they are diverted from IB to the Central Asia Institute, The Boston Cecilia, or some other 501(c)3.

Being a non-vip has its advantages! ;-)

the only constant benefit of being VIP is the $25 discount on Stock sets, so if you're not buying one of those, go ahead an let it lapse...

:p

Think if you want to support their good work with PackRat.

@ vihugo: Supporting the good work of the IB Founders to make sure they can continue their work.

I would fully continue to support them if the loss of many tokens was a sporadic event and their good work was at least equally divided between PackRat and Iconbuffet.

I have been attempting to have my account downgraded since February to no avail!

Thanks for the email Denise. Unfortunately, we didn't receive your original request. You should be all set shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience!

debbye on Apr 07, 2008

@Denise - is it an annual or monthly? i read that the annul account cannot be refunded … have to wait it out. *5 days left for me!*

monthly, should be up to you.

Denise on Apr 07, 2008

@otherbrian: Thanks; I received confirmation email.
