I noticed that, but I didn't bother pointing it out.

There is always 2 blog posts for a new set. That's just how we do things around here.

Boo hoo.

tamashii on Aug 01, 2008

uhm... why do they have the release date as yesterday (it wasn't up yesterday evening) and it hasn't been released yet at all. I think I'd rather them just put the actual release date and not the supposed tease date.

debbye on Aug 01, 2008

@tamashii - it was up yesterday. i updated my files @5:49 pm.

:-)

The 2 blog posts is one unit therefore singular.

Just got this! Will only lose 1 token! YAY!

B3llit0 on Aug 01, 2008

You don't lose any tokens on the chef deliveries…

SawanM Vip-micro on Aug 01, 2008

Hmm.

With new member referrals.

You accept the fre chef delivery, you lose a token.

anti on Aug 01, 2008

You lose tokens when you have all the icons, and none to accept before refill.

louiemctool on Aug 01, 2008

i could give a PackRat's pa-tutty if i was "beaten." i'll post again, if the mood strikes...

:)

It's out now!

B3llit0 on Aug 01, 2008

You don't lose them. You keep them and just get the difference. For instance, if you get 10 tokens each month, tomorrow is your refill, and you have two tokens left, you only get eight on your refill and still keep the two– hence the term “refill”. If you refill a soda at a restaurant, you typically have a little bit left and are about to run out. You don't pour out the soda that's in there before refilling it, do you? </semantics>

anti on Aug 02, 2008

The flaw in your theory - that one time I went from getting 30 tokens a month to getting 10 a month. The ones left over at the end of the month were lost forever.

tamashii on Aug 02, 2008

ok, got a little excited there, i still had 6 tokens go unused prior to my refill because of the set being free.

@B3llit0 :: yes, technically, we are not "losing" the tokens because it is a "refill." However, as the tokens don't bank (or store up), it feels as though they are being wasted. Consider this as a more apropos version to your soda analogy:

You pour yourself a glass of soda at home and drink half of it. For whatever reason, you get distracted and find that you simply didn't consume the other half for a couple of days. The ice has melted, the soda has gone flat and who knows what dust particles have settled on the top of your previously refreshing glass of soda. Are you going to merely add more soda to that glass? I should hope not. You will pour out the remainder, clean out the glass (if you desire to use the same one) and then refill it anew. That is what many of us feel happens with our tokens upon our refill days.

B3llit0 on Aug 02, 2008

Alright, you win. ^.^ Soda with… particles and other little bits in it is most unappetising.
