ASP on *NIX? Yep! :)

I know more than a few of us here have been itching to at least play around with ASP and ASP.NET, but are reluctant to leave our fast, stable *NIX servers just to mess around with .NET. Well, Novell has an answer for you: ASP on *NIX!

Seems I was right in my conjecturing a while back. If you have a UNIX-based box with the Mono Framework installed, you can run ASP on it...

Also, check out this reference at Mono-Project.com.

Mwa-ha-ha...

It is teh suck. Still, it's better than running it on a Windows box.

sounds like it's just for asp.net if it’s from mono...

i do some asp.net stuff for work, and iis is definitely the worst part!

well, i like C#, and ASP.NET actually does partial page refresh better than PHP/JavaScript, IMHO, so...

is one of those "i might have to do it one day, so may as well learn it now" sort of things.
