Check out these wonderful things about me...

Stuff

Me name being Black Mary Flint - no relation to Larry ... that I know of. Like anyone confronted with the harshness of robbery on the high seas, I can be pessimistic at times. Like the rock flint, I'm hard and sharp. But, also like flint, I'm easily chipped, and sparky. Arr! Get your own pirate name from piratequiz.com

And of course the ONLY diamond set is worth it...you get a couple of pirates and a facsimile of me monkey! Cheers.

Ahoy matey!, welcome to The Pirates,
Thanks for the add, I have added you back.

Pirate advice:

You don't have to accept every set that is sent to you and you have to keep in mind that sets cost tokens and you only get ten (10) tokens a month (if you are not a VIP, VIP's=30 TOKENS) so spend them wisely. Sending sets costs stamps.

The value of the sets you send or buy are as follow:

Bronze Set = 1 token for buying = 1 stamp for sending
Silver Set = 3 tokens for buying = 3 stamps for sending
Gold Set = 5 tokens for buying = 5 stamps for sending
(AHS) Diamond Set = 10 token for buying = 10 stamps for sending = As of Today, the One and Only Diamond Set = Amsterdam High Seas = 1 month of tokens

Check the complete-icon-lists from debbye

You get more stamps by receiving sets (5 for each set you receive). There are several good tutorials here in the forum and somebody will be very glad to link you to some fairly quickly. I would recommend:

Try to fill out your profile entirely ASAP, to show off who you are to the rest of the community.

Thanks for adding me as a friend! Let me know if there's anything I can send you.

"On the 20th Century" is John Barrymore and Carole Lombard. Watching them wrestle in tiny train compartments is hilarious.

FallenAngel on Jul 03, 2007

No probs. :-)

maryct on Jul 03, 2007

Hi, thanks for the add. You like old movies: how about "Bringing Up
Baby" and "On the Twentieth Century," two great screwball comedies. Oh, and "My Man Godfrey" with William Powell. Sigh....

zelda013 on Jun 23, 2007

hey thanks for the movie recs ! i don't know those two, i'll have to try to find them. i just watched "Libeled Lady" with Myrna Loy and William Powell (and Jean Harlow and Spencer Tracy, a whole constellation of stars in one movie), it was great, you should check it out if you haven't seen it. also just saw "How to marry a millionaire" (Lauren Bacall, Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable and... William Powell, a bit older there), definitely worth watching too.

zelda013 on Jun 18, 2007

i adore irene dunne too, she's brilliant. i've seen my favorite wife ; i love when she shows up at his house and pretends to be an old friend of the family to his new bride... but the awful truth is still my favorite. i never get tired of it.

zelda013 on Jun 17, 2007

brilliant films list, i love all those old classics. it happened one night is a masterpiece. and if you like the philadelphia story you should definitely watch the awful truth with cary grant and irene dunne, similar story, hilarious film.

iconwatcher on Jun 15, 2007

Okay, well, maybe later you can accept my lovely gift then.

iconwatcher on Jun 15, 2007
