ARGH!! (trouble sending sets)

is it just me or does any/everyone else have trouble sending sets????

it's like IB's set up to make sending bothersome. (sorry, chefs, but that's how it seems for me)

i have no trouble sending one set, but after that, when the little 'loading' graphic comes up (all the moving squares) it sorta just 'locks up' or something. the animation just sits there and never allows the "send" box to appear.

and THEN there's the whole thing where i want to send a particular set, but it doesn't show in the dropdown!! WHAT IS UP WI'DAT?!?!

anyone else having these problems? any solutions out there? is it just me?!?!!?

please say it ain't just me?! wah.

any help is appreciated.

The same thing happened to me when I was under IE 5.x, and with a shitty proxy ... now, everything is all right, firefox 2 helped ;o)

I occasionally have the spinny gif problem, but the reason a set will not show up in a drop-down menu is that person either already has the set or someone else has already sent it to them. In the latter case, the set will still show up in their sets needed if they have not accepted it yet. Hope this helps.

That happened to me when using IE, now use Firefox 2. A simple solution is, open a new window or make a new copy (Ctrl+N) of the page and try again. It works.

@wile/austingirl:: i haven't tried in ff, but will certainly do that, altho ff works awfully slow for me most times.

@austingirl:: i do always try to make sure the person needed the set first, but it could be that they have already been sent the set. *shrugs* i dunno... ALTHO--- there is an issue with sending one set that goes thru, then trying to send another set to same person and getting that spinny gif. ?? could be the same thing as you say...but what about trying to send same set to another person? trouble w/that? (i have prob w/doing that also!)

and it still gives me the spinny gif. *nuts!*

i give up. guess we'll just hafta wait til the chefs cook up some hearty fixes.
