oh wow - she is the most vapid news personality on the planet too.

I am pretty sure Today is part of M$ (in a way), though I wonder how much of that effects decisions like having someone like her trying to use anything above a toaster.

Well, it has been available for about an hour in Texas, now. SO based on where they were in line, they might just be getting them, if they even had enough. I wonder if the Apple store was able to activate them, or did they then have to contact AT&T to transfer service.

My brother waited in line for a few hours and got one for him and one for me.

It's a *nice* little machine. Completely blows away every other cell phone I've ever owned (and that includes a SLVR, RAZR, and a bunch of cheapies). Setup was a breeze and I'm still discovering cool little features. (I refuse to read documentation.)

so did you get one???
my friend and i waited in line for 6.5 hours, in a lovely air conditioned mall where we were given free chick-fil-a sandwiches, starbucks coffee, bottled water (from the Apple employees), popcicle and muffin from williams-sonoma, and some body butter from the body shop! haha... it was awesome! and totally worth the wait... i LOOOOVE my iphone! ;)
