I had a great deal of trouble with my avatar, too. Make sure it is in a PNG format and that it is less than 48x48 pixels. It took me about a dozen tries one afternoon before I got it to work. I used Microsoft Picture Manager to get the image down to a suitable pixel size. Hope the info helps. I'm not one of these techie wizards; I'm just a caregiver for folks with developmental challenges who also likes the pretty images (icons). Hi karlitacat. Your avatar is stored as "/avatars/85327_large..png" (notice the double dots). Someone said that this might be caused by a space (or possibly some other character) in the original filename.
