[LIVE CHAT] Social Gamers Wanted: Now!

Many of you IconBuffet gamers out there have been waiting for this, and I've been putting it off simply because I haven't had the right time to throw this party, but now is a good time... so here goes.

It's about 8:30pm CST, and I've just created a public chat room in Campfire. I'd love to chat with any and all of our IconBuffet members who are also into other games, especially social games (like TCG's or MMOG's), or who simply spend a lot of time on social sites like Facebook or Twitter.

There's room for about 25 people in the room, so it'll be first come first serve. If you can't get in, wait a bit and try again later. I'll probably run the chat for an hour or so. Thanks to everyone for your patience for this. I haven't forgotten. It's just been crazy lately.

Update: The chat is officially over, but unofficially the room is still open. Hop in and yap with your IB mates if you like for a few moments until we close the doors.

It's not totally fair to get annoyed at the chefs for their location. It's not their fault you're in the UK, and it's not your fault they're in TX. The chat happened when Josh was available. Not that I want to sound like a chef apologist, but I think that they're taking a lot of flak for what is out of their control - ie: members missing live chats or whatever, because they live elsewhere.

@cheiie: I'm with the others here. It's totally understandable for Josh to hold the chat when it's convenient for him, but 24 hours of lead time doesn't seem like an unreasonable request, either.

it was pretty much random chatting. i think josh expected more people. when only, like, 4 people showed up, he seemed to lose some interest...

The bummer is that I had a bad case of insomnia the night of the chat. I was trying to be responsible and fight it to get some sleep, but if I'd known the chat was going on I would have been more than happy to join in--it's not like I had anything else going on! ;)
