Blinksale: Easy, painless, online invoicing for small businesses

Mobile Web Design

Friend of the Buffet Cameron Moll has just published Mobile Web Design, a splendid manifesto for delivering your content to mobile devices. Cameron's experience with the mobile web is deep, and this book will doubtless prove invaluable to those who want to bring web standards to the mobile masses.

You can download sample content from the book or buy your own PDF copy at the Mobile Web Design site. You need this book.

I've followed Cameron Moll's stuff for a while, I'll have to see if I can get our company to pick a copy.

I've been wishing that I could use IB from my pda. I can access it, sometimes, but it's just not viable to use or even read, and once it even crashed (and reset without any harm afaik, thank goodness).
Chefs, could this mean that a stripped down style sheet for mobile users is in the works for IB? I'd write one myself but if there's a way to use it locally on my pda I'm not aware of how yet.

mik, try Opera Mini, if your PDA supports it. I had good luck with it on my Treo 650.

I will have to take a look at that. We are looking into doing joomla mobile sites.
