IconBuffet T-Shirts
Assuming we had some tees printed up, who would like to buy one? I imagine they'd be American Apparel tees, high-quality print job, and would run $20 plus shipping. Should we print some up?

fuseunderground on Apr 23, 2007
Yes in theory, but it would depend on the shipping to the UK, maybe we could build a bridge across the atlantic? how much Lego does everyone have? ;-)
socrates on Apr 23, 2007
duh! start the presses!!! ;)
Hoshichan on Apr 23, 2007
YES..!! [brandishes plastic]
nighthwk1 on Apr 23, 2007
$20 is a bit steep for a T-shirt..
josh
on Apr 23, 2007
Shipping will probably be $5 in the US. $7-$9 for international (based on previous experience shipping shirts).
davethegr8 on Apr 23, 2007
$20 is a bit steep for a shirt, but if they have a complex silk screen print, not entirely unthinkable.
wotan on Apr 23, 2007
Yes, please (even 2 my place - Austria)
fuseunderground on Apr 23, 2007
not white though
whoisgregg on Apr 23, 2007
I'm an absolute t-shirt freak. Count me in. :)
To echo fuseunderground, please not white!
Hoshichan on Apr 23, 2007
Yes, something other than white please. (Maybe background-gray?)
josh
on Apr 23, 2007
No, they definitely will NOT be white shirts. They will not be Cafe Press either. : )
Xerxes on Apr 23, 2007
Umm....Heck Yes!!!

I would buy if only to help support the place. I'm more curious what all would be on them. I mean, is it just a shirt with the IB logo in the upper left (like polo)?
redwolf on Apr 23, 2007
International shipping prices are reasonable in comparison to many other US distributers, but $9 is still getting to the point where I would have to consider if it's worth my while to wait it out and get two at once at a later time when combined shipping would probably only be a couple of dollars more.
I need to do this with Amazon. Shipping a single item to an international destination is obscene. It isn't worth putting in an order unless I have several items to get at once.
Black is always good. A nice deep purple would be my preference, but I may be alone in that. Navy is not a colour, neither is beige.
If you ran multiple designs and it's anything like the way we all behave when fresh icons come out, we'd probably all go head asplody trying to decide and end up getting several.
SpamDog on Apr 23, 2007
I would definatly be in.. depending on price vs my budget... I would also say maybe a few design choices.. maybe do a "Presale" so you can print up the correct amount with only a few overages.. also as I have to wear polos to work a polo with a little IB icon instead of a horse would be sweet!!!
gswd on Apr 23, 2007
Size would be my only issue. My 2XL rootkit shirt is a bit small (makes me look like a tomato), and is not at all comfortable. I know that most places (ThinkGeek, Jinx, etc) charge a little more for the extra sizing.
mcd on Apr 24, 2007
VIP is enough for me. I'd likely skip the t-shirt.
cry187
on Apr 24, 2007
A presale would be nice. I don't mind if it's a $20 as long as it includes goodies (customize IB packaging, stickers, postcards, etc.)
justG on Apr 24, 2007
I would love an IB tee, but it kind of depends on the design, placement, etc. I wouldn't pay $20 for a pocket tee with the logo on the pocket. I mightn't pay $20 for a regular tee with a big logo slapped on the front. But I would almost definitely pay $20 for a tee if one of you brilliant designers do something funky/snazzy with the design that incorporates the IB logo but doesn't focus on it. Like, I would love an ice cream social tee... y'know?
I've no idea if that made any sense, but there y'go.

on Apr 24, 2007
Depends on the total price (shirt + shipping); color; and most important, size. I usually wear a 2X and if the shirts run small, I will be most unhappy.
justG on Apr 24, 2007
@fredo: Total price = $25 (US) and USD$27-$29 (Int'l). As for size, just check out American Apparel's size chart.
Hope that helps.
Sparkie on Apr 24, 2007
Yeah.. $20 is a bit much.. but if that included shipping, you can count me in. I'll echo what GSWD said about the ice cream social - that would be too cool. And please, if you must make a polo, make a regular shirt too. Maybe the color could be similar to the IB background here (kind of a dark/washed out teal).
And I just got my super spiffy IB stickers in the mail today. I love them!! :D
debbye on Apr 24, 2007
i'd love a shirt. any idea on the design??
maybe … the design from the logo (top left of page)???? =)
i'd have to get one for the kid, too, so cheaper would be better. =)
mhayes on Apr 24, 2007
As long as you offered a Taipei Monkey T.
myrheille on Apr 24, 2007
I'd like it, but it depends on the design. Would there be male/female versions?
Nokiko on Apr 25, 2007
depending on the design i would be nterested
wmostrey on Apr 25, 2007
Just make sure it's not a plain white T but a high-quality colored shirt and/or polo (as suggested the gray background from this site). Adding a styled female t-shirt would definitely be a good idea.
Shalla on Apr 25, 2007
That would be cool. It would depend on the design and color of the T, but I'm interested.
slypix on Apr 25, 2007
half my wardrobe is from jinx.com, it's a yes for me.
Jen on Apr 25, 2007
I think a shirt with a collar and logo on the side would be nice and well worth $20, but I don't think I'd part with a $20 for a t-shirt style shirt.
aligroves on Apr 25, 2007
i would love one, but would prefer a skinny fit - being a girl and all
lisamac on Apr 25, 2007
The answer to tshirts is always yes. I, however, not being a skinny girl would appreciate an xxl. Nothing worse than having a tshirt opp and finding out they're only xl's. Veer - you listening? ;-)
Sly on Apr 25, 2007
Heh depending on the colour and design (and shipping to the UK) I would definitely seriously consider it
toamigo on Apr 25, 2007
27 dollars seems too much for me.
inkblot on Apr 25, 2007
I would def. be interested...

Yeah, purple--or Binary Tree brown.

I've ordered shirts from these guys before,
www.anchorcustoms.com...
They're out of Dallas, TX
nbaker on May 02, 2007
I'm struggling with international postage adding 35 to 45 percent to the cost of the tee.
It would need to be special for me to purchase so I'd need to see designs and colours before committing.
MobiTec on May 17, 2007
Anymore News on the T-Shirts Chefs???
soprano on May 17, 2007
I'm curious as well.
