think either I am getting old or I am jut missing the point, but I just don't get twitter!

It's a pretty nifty site. I personally have no use for it as all my friends and I communicate via a private message board.

But it's a cool way to let people know what you're doing or find out what they are doing. Or even if you want to meet up with some friends anywhere you can let them all know just by messaging twitter and they'll all be alerted.
