Borked Monthly VIP Renewals
Just when we thought we had it right... we didn't. The last couple of days and handful of you should have had your monthly VIP membership renewed. And it didn't happen. Good news: You were not charged. Bad news: Your VIP is temporarily gone.
We're working on the fix, and should have you all happy again soon. Sorry for the inconvenience, confusion, and negative token balances. Thanks for hanging with us in the meantime. We love you lots.

Signing up for a new VIP monthly will deactivate your old subscription, so it won't cause a problem.

@bdelisio: How many did you have when you signed up? If 0, did you just run out yesterday? If you spent 5 tokens yesterday and then upgraded to VIP, you would only get 25. If you'd waited 24 hours before upgrading, you would've received 30. I'm almost certain that's the way it works.

I logged in this morning - saw I was no longer a VIP - felt unloved and sat in the corner and cried for two hours straight - my life is now empty and can only be made complete again by extra tokens and a special icon set or two to make up for my utter grief

David you need to go sign up again then your problem will be solved.It ditches your other account and sets you up the new one. So I'm told. Apparently.
And you're right, all VIPs, whether monthly or annual have suffered greatly. The monthlys by being booted out of the VIPness and the annuals by being told their next token refresh is not until 2008! It has greatly shortened all our lifespans and deserves Cheffie goodness.

I encountered the same "undocumented feature" that bdelisio did. I accepted a delivery, had 5 tokens left, decided to upgrade to an annual VIP, and poof, only 25 tokens left until July 7th. Kind of a raw deal.

You really want to re-read those terms of use before talking about legal settlements. Particularly the "Firewheel Design makes no warranties.." section.
You get 30 tokens a month. The month is naturally calculated from the day you sign up. I understand why some folks get surprised by this, but the system is working as promised.
