Summer's best/worst movies

With the big blockbuster movie summer of 2007 over, I was just wondering which ones you thought were the best and worst. I will say that personally I was surprised.. as the ones that I thought would be my favs, turned out to disappoint.

FAVS
Simpsons
FF: Silver Surfer
Transformers
Bourne Ultimatum

LETDOWNS:
Shrek III
Spiderman
Ratatouille (beautiful but disappointing)

I loved 1408... that was a summer release, right?

I found Ratatouille amazing! Spiderman was a disapointment for me. Transformers was also great!

I think Ratatouille is funny. 'Everyone can cook'(even a rat) LOL

simpsons bad, ratatouille was okay, ff silver surfer was ok, but altogether, the summer was a letdown.

300!! This is ICONBUFFET!! Argh!

I would agree with Granf. Over all the summer was a let down. I was not "blown away" with anything. everything I saw was good, but I left with an "eh - so what" feeling.

Saw:
Harry Potter, Transformers, FF: Silver Surfer, Spiderman, and 300.

Missed:
Bourne Ultimatum, Simpsons, and some others that I cannot recall at the moment.

Of Jezca's list, I saw Transformers (Awesome) and Ratatouille (Prety Good).

I loved Stardust - though I know not many people saw it. It's much in the vein of The Princess Bride - charming, funny fantasy. HP Order of the Phoenix was quite good- almost as good as the book. I also enjoyed Knocked Up - but found Superbad to be a bit to mean / vulgar for my tastes. Just a bit. :)

Gosh, I think that's all I saw this summer...

OK, so we watched Tarantinos 'Death Proof' last night, I was bored for 40 mins, got excited for 10, then went back to sleep.
Woke up briefly for the fairly poor ending (unfortunatly!)
Just hoping Planet Terror is better!

@ KatieK: I saw Stardust too and was pleasantly surprised. I think we were the only two that saw it. I agree it's funny moments were very "princess bride".

300 is my favourite.
