Why i've changed my Avatar...(use this one, thanks server.)
just for this blog!
I love a coffee in the morning (and at any other time of the day), but i don't like getting ripped off.
How much do you pay for a standard Cappuccino in the USA and the rest of the caffeine loving world?
I will tell you how much we pay in the UK later,
I think you will be surprised!

JBVisions on Sep 11, 2007
Guaranteed the answer will be one heck of a lot different to what we pay.

In Mexico city:
In a non-Starbucks chain: capuccino = $1.80; americano = $1.10.
In Starbucks, a capuccino must be around $3.20.

Arrrrr, coffee will stunt your growth and make ye short like me monkey.
jameshilton on Sep 11, 2007
Ok, its not as bad as i had thought.
over here in blighty you will hand over about £2 ($4) for a standard cappuccino, but this is one of the cheaper places. In a posh restaurant you can pay over £3.50 ($7).

I'm not much for coffee so I do the tea thing. If I'm low on money, I just get a simple tea for about $1.75. If I'm flush with cash I'll opt for a fancy tea that can put me back $3.75.
My fav place is The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Have y'all seen this? Coffee diagrams showing what's used to make what drinks. Very informative (especially "Americano"). :)

In spain if you take a coffe in a common caffeteria (expresso, expresso with milk, tea or any other coffe drink) it's about 1.20€ (1,65$).
But if you go to Starbucks or any other "chic caffé", you can easily pay 3€ (4.13$) or more for a capuccino or any other "special" coffe. But you know it will come with the whipped cream, the syrup over the cream, the flavour with the coffe, 3 expresso shots and so on. I love them :)' I know they're expensive, but the're more like a milkshake than like a plain coffe.

At a convenience store in Oklahoma US any coffee drink they have, be it frozen, plain or cappucino costs about .79 .89 or .99 USD If you go to a specialty shop you can expect to pay three times as much. :)
