There is a member that has a self-portrait of herself and she is sporting blue hair (if I remember correctly). She is looking to the upper left corner of the shot and there is something I just dig a lot about the image. I thought it might be a still from a movie, but she said it was of herself (and the word “android” was mentioned somewhere).

I do not remember the name of this member and I have been searching the blogs and what-not to figure out who it is. Anyone know? Cuz that’s my vote.

@nickpixel :: afraid that’s not the one. Thanks for the effort though. No - it is just the hair that is colored, not the whole avatar. Additionally, the avatar is shot from the lower right with the person looking towards the upper left.

I just checked my entire Friends List and I am assuming they have since changed/altered their avatar and are not using the same one.

@cartuning :: i created tamadaisy’s avatar (she is my wife).

Her favorite flower is the daisy and prior to them canceling the animated avatars, the petal “countdown” was a subtle way to say how many tokens she had left.

When they “turned off” the animated avatars, as long as you didn’t change it, you were one of a rare few that still had motion. As she spends all 10 tokens almost immediately, she is pretty much always at zero, so the animation is accurate whenever it displays.

It makes me happy to see her with 3 votes so far for animated. I've done several other avatars for members, but hers always puts a smile on my face.

Also:
I don't think we should be snitching on other "friends" Avatar file sizes, the requirements stated by the Chefs say the we should'nt upload anything above 500k, most Avatars are below 15k (including animated), so i would say the odd large file should'nt matter. ;¬)

It looks like Brian Brasher has it all wrapped up for the best Chef Avi, it is much closer between the Animated and standard Avi's though, tamashii is 4 votes ahead of elnitido52 with 20 votes to 16 and there is only 1 vote between louiemctool and Candee for the Standard Avatar. THE FINAL RESULTS ARE IN!

In first place for the Chefs with a clear 10 vote lead is Brian Brasher aka etherbrian with 17 Votes.

Leading with 20 votes for the animated avatars is tamashii with elnitido52 just 4 votes behind and for the standard avatars is louiemctool with 10 votes and Candee in second place with 9 votes.

I have enjoyed keeping this post up to date and seeing everyones avatars change for the festive season, i guess it will soon be time to put away the santa hats and tinsel and get back to normality! I have become quite attached to my little winking rat so i think i will have to find him a new hat.

I think this post has been well supported so i will start a new one along the same lines for us to start voting for our favourites, i think we could vote for our favourite clan avatars ie Pirates and Penguins, look out for it in the blogs.
