iStock Steel Cage Match updates
I may be an idiot, but.... over on iStockPhoto.com, while I was perusing through the steel cage matches I started asking questions about the process.
Well, lo and behold, someone thought it would be fun to call out the "newb", and call him "skeered".
Well, nobody infers skeerededness upon me without me giving it some serious thought. Since this person was unwilling to challenge me directly, I ponied up and challenged them. Now let us see who is skeered.
Bwaaa-hahahaha.

at the moment, the opponent is still cowering inside his little shell. So just moral support. I need to be able to channel the essence of Pirates, Ninjas, Cavemen, Angels, Monks, Cats, Dogs, Overhanders and Underhanders, Geek Girls, GG Fanboys, and all of the other skillful spirits of the community at a moments notice. But alas I will be in the cage, physically (so to speak) alone.

@anti - the person that I challenged accepted the challenge, but said that I needed to post the first blow. So I then had 72 hours to create and post my image from which they will then use as a base for their blow. This will go back and forth, with a 72 hour window between each blow, until each of us has created 5 images. I've got until Saturday evening to post mine, and yes I have started. I'm just hoping that my imagination has not written a check larger than my skills can cash.

Keep us updated on how this turns out (I'll be sure to follow, I am "tamashii" there as well).
I gotta say though… with regard to the “battle” that your challenge originated from… uhm… holy hell that is some gawd-awful art.
I mean – wow, that is ugly. I obviously don't know the rules or anything for this particular form of PS Battle, but that match has uggo splattered all over it.
You should consider playing over at Designologue. I like the stuff done over there.

@tamashii - well, maybe I should warm up in the minor leagues first. After all, I don't really know how good my skills are, though I do admit to casting a lot of 3 votes, and even some 1s and 2s.
Anyway, my first blow is up. Take a gander, vote if your are able (tho I don't think it sways the judges).

Well, my opponent posted their blow last night. I've been thinking and tinkering all day with a counter blow, but am not having much luck. I've still got about 48 hours to figure it out. He just didn't leave me with much to build off of.

Thanks to all of you for your support. However, judgment has been rendered, and I got SPANKED. Never mind that my opponent violated rules; since I was a good sport he did not get called on the carpet over it by the judges.
