I agree...40 icon set is nice. Not really my preferred style, but nice. I wonder if they are planning a bunch of the buzz sets. They are useful icons, so having them in multiple styles will be nice.
this is so similar to nuuk buzz except the background is dark.
as for never catching up, JBVisions, you are a vip and i am not. (but then i have more icons then you do right now. I am missing 12) You will eventually catch up.
While not my favorite, I think it's VERY different from nuuk buzz (which I am a fan of). Nuke is more vibrant colors, uneven...non-straight lines (like a kid drawing).
While these are the same basic icons, they are muted, straight, smooth, and have a shadow effect making them look 3d.
My apology for being critical. I think there was a vote a while back about which style was appealing and which one fell. Shanghai was the least and I think Manhattan was the most.
@eury: was Shanghai voted the least? That’s my favorite style, hehe. I think Oslo was the big dawg with Manhattan coming a close second.
I rather like the Buzz sets - in any style. They come across as the most viable for commercial use and are very practical for any website. This one has a nice, unique look amongst the others and I like seeing new styles generated by the chefs. Really shows their flexibility.
Tamashii: I wish I could link to the old forum, which one of the chefs said, as I recall, he would scale back from punch more shanghai. Taipei set was also mentioned, though not for the positive points.
Of course I appreciate the diversity of styles, showing "flexibility" that you heralded. I merely pointed out that the Buzz/Mello sets looked visually less impressive than the others. The new Acapulco is a bit more interesting---reminds me of bird-eye views to rat-maze construction sets or labyrinths.

Along with the Shanghai style, this one is weak.

I like it enough myself. Although I feel like it's more a candy than a stone. But I might just be hungry.

Eury, heh. You're so offensive sometimes :P
I like the sort of sparkly nature of this set :)

We could do a round of vote and update this data.
