To fix your broken avatar, try saving you image as a GIF or PNG instead of a JPG and uploading again. That seems to work for others with the double dot problem. (If it doesn't work for you, please let me know)

Nope, it was a light novel, part of a series by Mary Janice Davidson. I'm not disinterested in philosophy but it doesn't quite make my reading list (which is always longer than I can realistically expect to catch up on!)
Something is wrong with your avatar, it comes up blank/broken in Firefox, Camino, and Safari. Someone else had the same problem a while ago. Does it show up okay for you? What type of file did you upload? I know there have been problems with animated GIFs since the IB chefs started using an image resizer in the upload process.

Yo! Yo! Yo! I am obsessed with icons-I'm trying to learn how to make them. I do not have any graphic experience but...I love to learnf new things. We'll see...If anyone has any hints I'd appreciate it.
