A lil more social ... ?
I have been pretty low on my social profile here since the beginning of my IB partecipations ... can anyone point out some advices on how to find what people needs, how to get from bronze to silver and gold and other tricks that may be useful, to get more social and more icons?

All you have to do is utilize the "blog forum". You'll find tons of good friends here along with plenty of icon requests and members looking to fill your icon requests.
Before you get too far into the Buffet, you may want to stop by this collection of Guides, FAQs, Tutorials, etc., and don't forget to add an avatar to your profile.

Fill your profile with things U like - movies, books etc. Provide a link to your blog or other website so people get more detailed info about what you're doing. Add people whose profile you like - they'll add you too in most cases...

Add an avatar, at the moment you're anonymous like loads of others. It kind of says you're not really doing anything. You also get a nice cheesy badge. :-)
