Thanks for the post, and they are lovely icons, but frankly, I wouldn't download anything without knowing what it first is. It would help if you would link to the actual icon page instead of the archive.

I wonder if we could perhaps restrict icon advertising to include sets/sites that offer the icons in ALL formats.

If anyone wants these files in a Mac format, they have to buy Pixadex for the conversion.

If the Chefs don't mind the mention of/linkage to non-IB sets, I don't think that we need to restrict such posts to sets that offer all formats; it would just be good if the poster could include as much information about the set as possible: Win/OS X, formats/sizes included, etc. I mean, I really do think this is a lovely set, and I've got Pixadex, so I would have no problem with that requirement. I wouldn't have ever known about it had it not been posted here, because IB is the only icon site I really frequent.

I also think that they look very nice. My only gripe is that the archive only contains the ico files. To get the png files, you have download them one at a time.

Those icons are nice. I looked around at some other sets and some of the usage requirements are rather restrictive. I like the icons here at IB not only because they are high quality, but because you can actually use them! I hope the exposure of having the icons used on the web brings the chefs much benefit.

Let´s clear this out:

1) I just want to cooperate with people in need of icons, programs or games (free).
2) All recommendations are downloaded and tested first. For spyware and virus.
3) I have seen many people posting different links and nobody have said anything before.
4) Next time (if any), more info will be posted.
5) I don´t know why, but for any forum I have visited (many) I always find a negative person, who is against anything AND EVERYTHING.
6) If you don´t want to download it, please, don´t but let other people do. (live and let die).

You can find the Mac version of the icons and a zip with the PNGs on the author's website --> Iconka.

To add my (friendly) two cents to the discussion, giving a link to an archive and not to a page, "prevents" people to actually look at the site and give a little love to the authors by clicking on donations, sponsored links, etc...
