150th set, although it will probably be the 149th delivered since PackRat is delayed. I definitely like the Claiborne style.
Candee on Nov 20, 2007
Very Techy indeed.
Psy2k on Nov 20, 2007
Love Claibornes!
SteveRGM on Nov 20, 2007

Was it bronze? It's gold now.
Lovely set!
jsfreire on Nov 20, 2007
Very nice set... Very nice family!
2Good4u on Nov 20, 2007
It was a steal as a Bronze!
Properly revalued to Gold!
krix on Nov 20, 2007
Another gorgeous Claiborne set? Yay!

Next time we get a bronze, keep quiet, it might also be revalued to gold! ;¬)
KatieK on Nov 20, 2007
I say, bring on the golds! I gots plenty of tokens. :)
soprano on Nov 20, 2007
Pretty!
iconmaster on Nov 20, 2007
Um, it's a new technology we have where sets actually "grow into" their valuation over the course of the first couple hours in the public eye.
;)
zelda013 on Nov 20, 2007
zowie ! that's one fine looking set. i like it better than claiborne nature. that probably says more about where i like to spend my time than about the sets though...

supertux on Nov 20, 2007
interesting.... could the chefs be going through an abstract phase?
Classicsmiley on Nov 20, 2007
Hmm. I'm quite surprised that this one got revalued. It really did seem like a Bronze to me.
sgitheanaich on Nov 20, 2007
Wow, there's something genius and really appealing in the "clash" of techy subject in such a soft, gentle styling. Really nice work guys.
Betty on Nov 20, 2007
must have!
a2 on Nov 20, 2007
I really like it. I like that it's a new/different family. I design a lot of stuff that is very different in style, so it's great to have a new family to design with!
Thank you chefs!
MrDee on Nov 20, 2007
@iconmaster - so if we see an new bronze set and speak well of it you up the price? Does this mean if a new gold set turns up and we make fun of it the price goes down? either way you are asking for negative/minimal feedback.
Please understand, I Love the Claiborne series. but this one with the clear Mac bias seems a little limited to be gold IMHO.
Given the concerns about the IB 'Economy' perhaps a few more bronze (to up the number of stamps in circulation) would be a good idea. Just get Brian to turn out less tasty icons ;)
supertux on Nov 20, 2007
Clear Mac bias? Hey. Macs are cool. Do not make fun of the fruits. There's a windows logo there too.
But I agree with D about the IB Eco- bronze sets are easier to accept and send out. Plus, if the package isn't worth as much, less change of robbery during transit right? IMHO this set's pure gold, but in the future lets try to crank out some more of the less costly sets.
memodude on Nov 20, 2007
What's the group number of this?
renbot on Nov 20, 2007
Group 1, though I always thought group 1 was actually group 4 (either way, it's the group that got Mallow Atmosphere and Oslo Edible).
dyar on Nov 20, 2007
but in the future lets try to crank out some more of the less costly sets.
So far this month (before Claiborne Tech) we've had 5 Bronze releases and 1 Gold.
The best I can tell they try to keep it at 50% Bronze, 25% Silver and 25% Gold (excluding Diamonds).
memodude on Nov 20, 2007
Hmm...group 2 keeps getting shafted over and over. The only group 2 gold in recent history was Turkey Hunt 2 (lame), and I haven't gotten a single appealing icon set for free for quite a while.

might someone send claiborne tech my way?
SexyLips on Nov 20, 2007
Nice, clean, useful, modern and appealing set!
myrheille on Nov 20, 2007
It is definetly worth the Gold status! There's like 12 icons in there, and some are highly usable too. I think Claiborne is my favorite family of etherbrian! ... with Oslo.. and Shasta... arg, I can't chose.

I. LOVE. THIS. SET.
JSun on Nov 20, 2007
Awesome. I hope it gets let out soon. I could use the stamps from accepting it :)
gswd on Nov 20, 2007
Ummm....who still uses 3½" disks?
grantneufeld
on Nov 20, 2007
In terms of the IB economy, I think more Gold sets is a good idea. Gold sets are hard to deliver, but are worth more because of the halo, top hat and crown badges. Having more sets to choose from will help in being able to make those deliveries.
Bring on the Gold!
(But Diamonds are still a IB’ers best friend ;-)

I think its group 4, remember not to include PackRat in the groups.

I haven't started use those newfangled plastic things, 5¼" :-)
