IB Points and Stamp Calculator

Here's a little Excel Spreadsheet I wrote. It will calculate the maximum amount of Points you can have now if all your Stamps are converted to Points and will also calculate the amount of Stamps you have outstanding (unclaimed deliveries).

Most everything you need to make your entries is located on your Profile Page but you will also need to know the number of Referrals you have and the number of Diamond deliveries you sent which have been accepted. Complete Instructions for use are located on the spreadsheet.

Here's a Screenshot of a completed sample if you want to take a peek at a finished product.

New Version 2.2 released 10/22/07 which adds the new Golden Crown Badge. Many thanks to my friend jsfreire for his input and assistance in the new design. Placement Percentage calculations were originally suggested by rdunlop.

You can Download the spreadsheet for your own use by Clicking Here. You will just need to un-zip the file to use it.

I just make a note when I see 50 Points and 15 Stamps suddenly appear. You might can back into it. You've received 40 Stamps from deliveries which converts into 400 Points if all your Sends were accepted plus you received 100 Points with the Fan Badge. That leaves 170 Points unaccounted for. Depending on how many Points you have in your Bank, the number of referrals could be 1, 2 or 3. Enter them individually in the box then compare the number at the bottom with the amount of unclaimed deliveries you think you have. You might have to adjust it during the next week as people either claim or return Stamps. It shouldn't be too difficult. Good Luck.

Pretty cool, would be nicer to see it as an online web application rather than needing to mess about with downloading and using an .xls file however.

I think I will make an (almost) automated web-based one where it just asks for your username, # of referrals, and # of stamps in your bank this weekend.

How many people would want that?

I say go for it if you want. You're going to need a lot more information than you mentioned to get anything meaningful without an API. Like Diamond Deliveries and Badges owned. You will also need a back end database to store users information or else they will have to enter it all each time. I would love to see you or someone else do it, but it was a bit more than I was willing to tackle. Seemed easier to just store the 17k file on your hard disk.

I think dyar's treating the 150 as a "diamond bonus" on top of the 10pts/stamp value expected from ordinary deliveries.

Exactly, the remainder is handled by the claiming of the Icons sent by your Stamps. I mean this is not brain surgery, all we're doing here is making two calculations here.

Thanks to a kind member that pointed out that I had neglected to put in a place for the 20 Bronze Badge. It doesn't effect the calculations on previous version. That was added and pngs were put in place of gifs so the images are better. See the Original Post for the latest Version to download.

A new version of the calculator has just been released. This version includes calculations for the 100 Referrals Badge and the 100 Deliveries Badge. It also includes a Placement Percentage Calculation.

If you don't have the 100 Referrals or 100 Deliveries Badges the previous version will still work fine for you. If you have received either of these Badges you will need to download the latest Version for your calculations to be accurate.

Just click on the link in the Original Post for the Current Version.

No, the new Pink Hat you get for having 100 Sets in your account. Take one more Set and you get the Badge and 250 Points.

Log out/in to make sure you have received all your Points for your Badges. I keep a hand record of my deliveries so I always know what is outstanding and it always matches the calculator. (not to hard to keep up with one stamp, lol)

I'm still using it, and that's a great tool ... I think someone could make a site to show the ranking for placement percentage top IBers ;o)

New Version 2.2 released today. The only revision in this version is the addition of the Golden Crown Badge for making 500 Gold Deliveries and the 2,000 Bonus Points. If you're not close to making 500 Gold Deliveries you probably don't need to download this Version, but it's available if you want it by clicking the link in the Original Post at the top of this Thread. Many thanks to my friend jsfreire for making this change before I got to it.
