IB April Statistics - A New Token Low
Good news and Bad news for the month of April. First the Good news - everyone got at least one Free Set during the Month. This is only good news because March was the first month that everyone didn't get a Free Set. Now for the Bad news - we hit a new low for the amount of Token Value of the Sets released during the month at 9. The previous monthly low was the partial month of March 2007 when 12 Token Value of Sets were released. Because of the Free Sets issued during the Month, this means even non VIP's having all the Sets could have had Tokens left over. For Members not having all the Sets you got a chance to catch up a little bit, and for Members having all the Sets you wasted some valuable Tokens.
As noted herein, April was a down month when compared to March in terms of Token Value of Sets released. Group 1 received 1 Bronze Free Set during the Month, Group 2 received 1 Bronze and 1 Silver Free Set, Group 3 received 1 Silver Free Set, and, Group 4 received 1 Bronze Free Set during the Month. Here's the results for April:
Total Sets released in April was 5, a 67% increase from the 3 Sets released in March. The April releases consisted of 3 Bronze and 2 Silver Sets. Of the 5 Sets released, etherbrian was the Designer of 3 Sets (3B) containing 28 Icons, and iconmaster was the Designer of 2 Sets (2S) containing 15 Icons.
The Token value of all Sets released in April was 9, a 44% decrease over the 16 Token Value in March. As noted herein, this is a new Monthly Token low and is the first time in which less than 10 Token Value has been released.
The Average Token Cost per Set was 1.80, a 66% decrease from the 5.33 average in March. The decrease was due primarily to the inclusion of the Diamond Set in the month of March.
The Average Sets released per week was 1.25, a 67% increase from the .75 sets per week released in March.
This Chart tracks the above Statistics since the New Icon Buffet went live in March 2007.
This Latest Chart tracks by Group the Total amount of Set Value each group has received Free since IB 2.0 started on 3/9/07.
At the end of April there were 184 Free Delivery Sets outstanding, containing 2,863 Icons. These included 3 Diamond (1.63%), 45 Gold (24.46%), 45 Silver (24.46%), and 91 Bronze (49.46%) Sets. The total Token Value of all Sets outstanding was 481 at the end of April with an average Token Value/Set of 2.61.
There is now 1 Member with over 120,000 Points, 1 Members (-1) with over 80,000 Points, 2 Members (+1) with over 70,000 Points, 1 Member over 40,000 Points, 10 Members (+6) over 30,000 Points, and 21 additional Members (-2) over 20,000 Points. Since everyone got a free delivery, the total number of tokens required to receive the sets this month should be less than 9, correct?

Ignoring the diamond set, I'd rather we get 5 sets @ 9 tokens like we did in April rather than the 2 sets @ 6 tokens like in March.
If that didn't make sense to anyone else - sorry. It made sense to me.
