We'll see about A-Rod... I'm not a big fan of his but if he's on my team I'm rooting for him all the way.

I heard the NY organization released that they would offer JT a contract, but at a reduced price. The very idea that this would be leaked to the media shows so much disrespect to the manager who gets them to the post season every year. Oh, yeah, I would SO love to hear Joe Torre say, "Thanks but NO THANKS!"

Happy to send Tiny, too. By the way, I agree with your statement. Unfortunately, I believe George Steinbrenner is a brilliant businessman who is now suffering from either Alzheimer's Disease or some other kind of dementia. Growing old isn't always pretty. :(
Your Joe Torre will be managing baseball somewhere next year, if not NY, then teams will be outbidding each other for his expertise.
