How to get more stamps?

I have spent all my stamps, and since I'm only missing one set (anyone? :)), there is no chance to get more stamps except there are new sets I accept - then we only get 5 stamps.

With this, ib is no fun at all :'(

You spend stamps to SEND sets. You spend tokens to ACCEPT sets.

It's all about referrals from here on. With referrals you get more Points and Stamps. Several proposals have been made to get more Stamps but so far nothing has happened. Hopefully that will be part of the coming "coolness" that has been pending for over a month.

Personally, I think the limitation on stamps is a good one in terms of balanced gameplay (though undeniably frustrating if you can't get the referrals). Basically, it provides a limiter on the players who have done massive trades, giving those newer players an edge to catch up; every trade an 'advanced' player makes is one a new player can't make. By requiring the advanced players to get more people to join to continue advancing, that can also provide trading opportunities for others. Still, I can't deny the frustration, when I was out of stamps the few days before my last refill, I was feeling lost... :-) So the question is, is there another mechanism that can continue to keep things fun for the players who have all the sets, while keeping balanced gameplay?

Perhaps I find a few guys I can refer, but there must be something else....

what is an apprentice? how do you spend someone else's stamps? sounds intriguing, although I have plenty of stamps right now, thanks.
